VBS is open for children ages 4 - 10-years-old. Older youth and adults are welcome to register to volunteer, as the activities are geared for children in 5th grade and younger.

This year's VBS theme is "Knights of the North Castle: Quest for the King’s Armor."

VBS will be held outdoors again this year (science, art, music, Bible Storytelling, and bathrooms will be indoors.) Each group will have their own tents to sit under during the day.

Children arrive Monday through Friday (9am - 12:30pm)** during the week of June 20th. Participants will be in mixed age groups of about 14 children. All groups will stay the same each day. There will be both a group leader and an assistant. Please e-mail Erin Murray at wappingfaith@gmail.com if you’d like to volunteer.

We will begin the first 15-20 mins. of each day as follows: All the groups will be presented with the Bible message for the day, we'll sing a song or 2, and share any announcements. We will rotate to each station throughout the day.

We will not serve group snack this year, but we will have a snack time each day. Please remember to bring a water bottle and a healthy snack each day.

There will be a Bible story, music, recreation, crafts, snack, and science each day. Each day will end with closing thoughts, reflections, songs, and prayer.

On the Friday, June 24th, in addition to the morning program, there will be an outdoor evening Celebration Pizza Dinner. Please bring your favorite pizza to eat with your family. All participants are invited to come back (with as many family members as they'd like) to eat dinner together, view a slideshow showing the week's activities, hear VBS songs, and see what we have been up to all week.

The cost for VBS includes all the supplies as well as a CD with VBS songs.
