Join us the first and third Sundays of the month between September and June from 6:00-8:00 p.m.for a time of fellowship, crazy games, sharing of joys and concerns, reflection, and conversation. As part of our time together, we’ll also reach out to others. Together we’ll pack Thanksgiving baskets for those in need, sing carols and bake cookies for some of our shut-ins, and work with the Christian Outreach Committee to serve others in our local community. Throughout the year there will be opportunities for lock-ins, retreats, outings, and a mission trip in the Spring of 2010. JPF is a great place to make new friends and feel supported in a loving, accepting Christian community. Join us!   Each Sunday during the school year we gather from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for fun and fellowship. We come from South Windsor, Tolland, Manchester, Ellington, East Windsor, and surrounding towns, to deepen our connection to God, Jesus Christ, and one another. We cook and share meals together, connect with the Bible through study, reflection and conversation, and do fun stuff. We also serve others through groups like Hands-On Hartford, MACC Soup Kitchen, and others. Throughout the year we will help serve a meal in a soup kitchen, make care packages for our college students, observe a Good Friday vigil, plan and lead a worship service for Sunday morning, go on several retreats and other fun outings. We will also plan and raise money throughout the year for our mission trip in the Summer of 2010.
