Christian Education

The programs planned by the Christian Education board for the Wapping Church faith community empower and nurture reflective thinking about Christianity and it's relevance to life's journey. In keeping with Christ's example we understand that people of all ages are learners and people of all ages are teachers and the world is our classroom. Our foundation includes Biblical literacy, United Church of Christ heritage and shared experience.

The Director of Christian Education and the Christian Education Board members work together to offer educational opportunities for all who attend Wapping Church. Bible study, workshops, and discussion groups on a multitude of topics are offered several times during the year. The Board of Christian Education welcomes ideas and suggestions for education groups and workshops.

The Board of Christian Education also partners with families to sow and nurture the seeds of faith for children and youth in Lil' Sprouts (Early Childhood) and God's Garden (Elementary & Middle School). Find out more about Lil' Sprouts and God's Garden on those pages of this site.
